She currently lives and works in Faenza, Deutsch Goritz and Graz.
Cristina D’Alberto was born in 1978 and grew up in Domodossola, a small Piedmontese town near the border to Switzerland.
The interest in ceramics was born during the last year of art high school in Novara, which led her to attend the course of
Ceramist Modeler at the G.I.COVA Foundation in Milan.
In 1999 she moved to Faenza to continue her studies at the Gaetano Ballardini Art Institute where she obtained the
Master of Arts and Majolica Art diplomas.
She participates in several group exhibitions in Italy, Germany, France and Austria.
In 2011 she won the First Prize at the international competition Generazione e Rigenerazione tra Coscienza, Conoscenza,
Razionalità e Fede and the Presidential Plaque at the 57th Premio Faenza.
In 2013 she took part in the Keramik Symposium in Gmunden in Austria.
since 2017 she shares the art studio with Daniel Wetzelberger at Deutsch Goritz in southern Styria.
In 2017 she was invited to an artistic residence in Schwäbisch Gmünd in the context of the Gioielli Gemelli jewelry project.
At the beginning of 2019 Cristina joined the Austrian collective Schmuckes composed of six contemporary jewelery artists,
with whom she shared the Atelier-Galerie Schmuckes in the center of Graz.
She currently lives and works in Faenza, Deutsch Goritz and Graz.
